David has more than 20 years of experience in career and professional development, working in a wide-range of specialities. He initially provided career coaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students. In the last 10 years, David has focused on coaching and training for mid-career and senior level professionals, as well as designing development and change management programmes for organisations.
David regularly trains other practitioners in advanced coaching theory and evidence-based techniques and is an approved Chartered Management Institute leadership and management trainer.
He has developed and delivered interactive workshops, thought-provoking webinars and innovative written materials on topics ranging from interview skills to strategic thinking.
One of David's strengths, when working with both individuals and organisations, is the ability to identify the fundamentally important (and sometimes uncomfortable) questions that you need to ask yourself in order to unlock constructive and creative thinking about your development needs.
